Full dentures - why is it so important to replace missing teeth?

Very many people opt for a complete denture for aesthetic reasons. However, this is not the only reason for this solution.

Another - and very important - is health! Numerous missing teeth or complete toothlessness affect the entire body.

Even single unfilled gaps are the cause of misalignment of the remaining teeth, which translates into malocclusion. These, in turn, involve orthodontic treatment.

Another major consequence is the changes in the facial structure. Missing teeth can lead to a loss of volume in the jawbone or mandible and cause the cheeks to collapse. Added to this is dysfunction of the temporomandibular joints, which can result in headaches, stiffness in the jaw area and difficulty opening and closing the mouth.

In addition, missing teeth impair chewing function, which affects the entire digestive system and speech function.
