We started with one office and one dentist. Today, we offer our patients treatment from as many as seven doctors, in eight areas of dentistry , seven days a week and using state-of-the-art equipment. Discover the history of Medical Dent.
Our beginnings - Medical Dent 10 years ago
It all started in 2012 in Birmingham, more precisely in West Bromwich. It was there that the first Medical Dent practice was established. For the first few months, we could only offer treatment in general dentistry.
However, we soon noticed that our patients also needed specialists from other areas of dentistry. That is why, after just six months, an orthodontist appeared in our practice. In the course of time, other people joined our team. If you would like to meet our doctors and find out more about them, we recommend that you visit "Our Team".
Not only the number of doctors but also the number of patients was growing, which prompted us to open a second practice. Both are located in the same premises.
Interestingly, almost from the very beginning, our patients were and there are still people not only from the Birmingham area but almost all of England. At this point we would like to thank you very much for your trust and look forward to helping you look after a healthy and beautiful smile.
For 10 years, the patient always comes first
For us, the patient comes first and these are not empty words. We always strive to meet their needs. Therefore....
Firstly, as we have already mentioned, we are constantly expanding our team. There are now as many as seven dentists from all disciplines working at Medical Dent. We can offer our patients treatment in:
- General dentistry
- Paediatric dentistry
- Oral surgery
- Cosmetic dentistry and, more specifically, teeth whitening.
Secondly, our working hours. We are aware of, That Medical Dent patients have their professional and private obligations, and we do not want these to interfere with taking care of their health. That is why our surgeries are open as many as seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. This allows each person to find a day and time that is convenient for them.
Thirdly - we offer our patients an instalment system. Not only is it advantageous, as the first 12 months are zero interest, but it is also secure - regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA number 619628). You can read more about how and when you can benefit from the instalment of dental treatment in our article ""Teeth on credit, or dental treatment on hire purchase".".
For another, we share our knowledge. On our blog, we constantly publish information on the care of teeth, but also on treatment. In this way, we not only provide knowledge, but also dispel many myths associated with dentistry.
That's not all!
Medical Dent also stands for modern treatment methods
Over the last 10 years, not only has the number of doctors increased and opening hours extended, the equipment in our surgeries has also expanded significantly.
We can now offer our patients treatment under the microscope, making it even more accurate and precise. And that's not all! The microscope in the dental practice allows treatment to begin much more quickly, making it take less time and consequently less costly.
We also use panoramic radiographs for diagnosis, which show the full condition of the oral cavity. When treating periodontitis - Vector Paro Pro - one of the most modern devices of its kind on the market.
Medical Dent patients who require crown placement or bridge instead of an unpleasant impression taking, they can use our intraoral scanner. It allows a three-dimensional image of the dentition to be obtained in a few minutes and the scan itself is painless for the patient.
We provide not only the equipment but also the most effective methods of caring for your teeth. For example, the Enlighten system, which guarantees a white smile for years after two weeks, and for life if the doctor's recommendations are followed. Sound interesting? If so, we recommend you our text "Enlighten teeth whitening - a snow-white smile in 2 weeks".
We also constantly collaborate with the best laboratories in the UK prosthetics. All this is to ensure that our patients receive the best possible service and can enjoy a beautiful and healthy smile for years to come.
